Summer is here, and what better way to spend a vacation than on a road trip?
This year, our bucket-list destination was Yellowstone National Park. Our route would take us from Las Vegas, Nevada, through the northern corner of Arizona, and onward across Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. The journey offered incredible scenery, but as with every trip I’ve taken, I found myself drawn to something else along the way – the railroads.
I always catch myself looking for trains, spotting the different types of railcars, from tank cars to hoppers, and wondering what cargo they might be carrying. It’s fascinating to see how the rail lines crisscross through open fields, wind along rivers, and carve their way through mountains, connecting communities and industries across the country.
Working for Indurante has been incredibly rewarding. It has opened my eyes to a world I now appreciate and genuinely enjoy being a part of, even when I’m on vacation. What was once something I simply noticed in passing has become something I actively seek out and admire wherever my travels take me.
